Harrachov - Mumlava 2006-2007
Harrachov, Mumlava a Mumlavský vodopád
V údolí říčky Mumlavy přibližně 1,5 km od Harrachova najdete cca 10 m vysoký Mumlavský vodopád. Ten je jedním z nejkrásnějších a také nejmohutnějších v celé České republice. Jen pár desítek metrů proti proudu řeky naleznete také zajímavý erozní útvar - tzv. Obří kotle (obří hrnce) - balvany a skalní plotny s "mísami", které proud dále prohlubuje. Návštěva tohoto místa může být vhodným výletem jak pro seniory, tak i pro rodiče s malými dětmi. Cestou k Mumlavskému vodopádu budete míjet i Hornické muzeum nebo Liščí stezku, která zábavnou formou seznamuje děti s lesem a jeho obyvateli.
